Cavani: 'Napoli sent a signal'

Edinson Cavani soaked up the San Paolo atmosphere and admits Napoli “sent a signal” by beating Milan.

“It's wonderful to see this atmosphere and joy. We had a great game and that is the most important thing,” said hat-trick hero Cavani after a 3-1 victory.

“We know our limitations and that we must continue to work every day, every game, to give our best.

“We have to continue along this path and prepare for another tricky game at Chievo on Wednesday.”

After scaring Manchester City in a 1-1 draw in the Champions League and beaten Milan in Serie A this week, have Napoli sent a signal to the other clubs?

“It could be a signal, yes. We know this is a long and difficult campaign, but we can only keep going and see what happens,” smiled Cavani.
