Ivan Cordoba has declared his belief that Inter will put aside their difficult start to the season to collect three points against Novara on Tuesday night.
The 35-year-old misses out on the trip to Piedmont through injury, but believes his colleagues will secure their first win of the season, and begin to show the hard work that went into pre-season is paying off.
"I think the team will prove to be strong, and take the three points. Inter is an important team, we are close to the Coach, we want to do what he asks.
"There have been just two days. It is important to be aware that we lost a few points, but that we are united, and we want to catch up quickly, to be there for the Scudetto fight.
"We know from the beginning that there were changes, and that our legs would not run as they do mis-season.
"The guys did a great job in pre-season training, and gradually we will get better."
The Colombian also reflected on the plastic pitch his teammates will be playing on when they visit Novara on Tuesday night.
"In the U.S. they play a lot on synthetic surfaces, I've already played on them in the past. It's quite different, but I hope that we can still play to our best. We must play our game."
