Pierpaolo Bisoli admitted he was moved by his players' celebrations as they equalised against Juventus, and praised their response to recent criticism.
The former Cagliari boss was under scrutiny taking the team into Wednesday night's match, with the team goalless and pointless from two games played.
However, Daniele Portanova's goal earned a point for the Rossoblu, and Bisoli thanked his players, and spoken of the importance of the result.
"In the field after Portanova's goal, when half my team jumped around my head, I was moved.
"With this game, we have shown that perhaps some criticism was excessive and that it is not true that the Coach that sits on the bench knows nothing.
"We wanted to send a message, and we did. We have found the road, even though we know the road is still long."
"The team worked hard as I asked them to, and now we have to it again against Inter on Saturday."
