Stefano Colantuono has praised his players for wiping out their points penalty within the first three rounds of Serie A action.
The Coach was speaking after seeing his side record their second win of the season, away to Lecce, and move into a positive points tally, and above pointless Cesena.
The Orobici began the season with a -6 points penalty for their involvement in a betting scandal last season, and Colantuono has praised their attitude in clearing that so quickly, but warned that their aims stretch beyond this achievement.
"We are proud of this, but are we the first to have such a penalty? I don't think so, and it is not our only goal.
"Our primary objective was to cancel out the penalty early, and we did. We have already out a team behind us and that is why I am proud.
"I hope this is point of origin, rather than a destination for us, so we must continue and not give an inch. On Sunday against Novara we will have a difficult match."
