Siena Coach Giuseppe Sannino is “content, as taking a point away from the Olimpico is important.”
The Tuscans got their first goal of the season with a last-gasp Roberto Vitiello equaliser in their 1-1 with Roma this evening.
“I am content with the result and the performance against a great side, as taking a point away from the Olimpico is important,” said the tactician.
“We conceded a goal against the run of play, but the lads took the right approach and showed versatility.
“Franco Brienza was extraordinary tonight with his work ethic. Of course, after working so hard all over the pitch, you aren't always so sharp when it comes to finishing.
“Emanuele Calaiò and Angelo were often in scoring positions, but you can't have everything. I am happy with this and we have to immediately look ahead to the next game.
“You all know where I come from and that this was my first ever trip to the Stadio Olimpico. It is thanks to all the players I ever worked with that I am here at this level.
“It is a difficult campaign and I want every member of the squad to be ready and make my decisions difficult when picking a starting XI.”
