Reports are indicating that Wesley Sneijder could miss Inter's trip to Bologna with a muscle strain injury.
The Dutch midfielder is believed to have strained his adductor muscle in his left leg in the Nerazzurri's final training session at Appiano Gentile before they travel to face Bologna on Saturday.
It will be a blow for new Inter Coach Claudio Ranieri, who had indicated he was set to field Sneijder in a central playmaker role behind the strikers.
Ranieri replaced Gian Piero Gasperini as Coach this week, and has been given the clear directive from Massimo Moratti that the team must win against the Rossoblu.
Inter go into the game looking for their first win and first away points of the new season, having dropped into the relegation zone after the midweek round of fixtures.
