Jose Mourinho has put aside his often vicious rivalry with Claudio Ranieri. “I want Inter to win, so Forza Ranieri!”
The Special One engaged in a series of battles over the media with Ranieri when he was at San Siro, but now the former Juventus and Roma boss has taken on his old job.
“I do not consider myself a pseudo fan, but rather an outright Inter fan,” said Mourinho in a Press conference for Real Madrid.
“This is why I don't care who the Coach is, I just want Inter to win. If it is Ranieri now, then I say Forza Ranieri, I hope he can succeed.”
Since Mourinho's departure in May 2010, the Nerazzurri have been all at sea with four different tacticians.
“Don't worry, I am not a great Coach. It's unlikely someone like me can be missed,” said Mou in a perhaps unique moment of modesty.
