Cesena 'will get result at Milan'

Marco Giampaolo's Cesena haven't got a single point so far, but he insists “we're going to San Siro to get a result against Milan tonight.”

The Sea Horses invested heavily over the summer transfer market and had a new artificial pitch installed, but have lost all their games with Napoli, Catania and Lazio.

“We're going to San Siro to get a result against Milan. We are working to make that happen and must think positive,” said the Coach ahead of the 19.45 UK time kick-off.

“We started out with three undeserved defeats and recognise that tactics count only to a certain degree, as it's mentality that wins you games.

“The team played three decent matches, but we paid the price for making some mistakes. I know I must justify the fact we have zero points in the table, but at the same time note individual moments cost us dearly.”

Milan are not doing much better, as they have only two points and are dealing with an injury crisis that has ruled out 10 first choice players.

“Milan are a side with great players and above all a winning mentality, which is what allows them to push through this tough moment,” argued Giampaolo.

“Pippo Inzaghi is the perfect example of that, as he is always hungry and will never sit back.”
