Bologna will be without goalkeeper Jean-Francois Gillet for around five weeks after he dislocated his shoulder.
The Belgian international picked up the injury in an accidental collision with Sulley Ali Muntari during Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Inter.
The club released a statement confirming a specialist had diagnosed an anterior sternoclavicular dislocation.
Gillet will be out of action for around 30-40 days, although he does not require surgery.
