Details are emerging of the severance package Massimo Moratti has agreed to pay out to former Inter Coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
The former Genoa man was dismissed last week after just five games in charge at San Siro, in which time he oversaw four defeats and a draw.
Moratti has since replaced him with Claudio Ranieri, but has reportedly agreed with Gasperini to a termination of his contract in agreement with all parties, rather than to simply sack him.
Fcinternews.it understands that Gasperini will receive a lump sum of €750,000 as a severance fee, with further benefits taking that up to a reported €1m. In return, the 53-year-old ends his €1.5m-a-year contract.
Interestingly, Gasperini's backroom staff are set to stay on at San Siro and will see out their contracts signed to June 2013.
