Marek Jankulovski analyses the Viktoria Plzen threat for his former Milan teammates. “It's not going to be easy.”
This evening the Rossoneri hope to notch up their first Champions League win of the season when welcoming the Czechs to San Siro, kick-off at 19.45 UK time.
“It's not going to be easy for Milan, just as no Champions League can be, even though there is a vast difference in quality between the sides,” Jankulovski told Milan Channel.
“Viktoria won the League after 100 years, they're the best side in our country and have never played in a stadium like San Siro. This is the chance they've been waiting a lifetime for.
“Plzen are a young side who run really hard and proved it in the preliminary round by eliminating the likes of Rosenborg and Copenhagen, who are accustomed to this level.
“The biggest danger man is Pavel Horvath. He is a little... old, but knows how to pass the ball around well.”
Meanwhile, around 150 Viktoria Plzen fans have arrived in Milan on three buses. There have already been two arrests for carrying knives and 32 fireworks confiscated.
