Reja: 'We will counter Sporting attack'

Edy Reja has warned of Europa League opponents Sporting and their strength in attack, but promised that Lazio will still look to win.

The 65-year-old Coach was talking ahead of Thursday evening's clash with the Portuguese side at the Estadio Jose Alvalade in Lisbon.

The Aquile Coach brought attention not only to where he believes the Leoes are strongest, but how he intends to attack them.

"Sporting have a very strong team in midfield and attack. We have to curb their efforts in the early stages and immediately try to attack on the counter, we cannot afford to wait. We too have to take our arrow to the bow to put them under difficulty."

Meanwhile, his opponent on the other bench, Sporting Coach Domingos Paciencia warned of their intent to push Lazio back.

"We play at home and will do what we always do: take the game to the opponents and try to score from the first minute."
