The Coach added Pescara midfielder Lorenzo Insigne and brought back Empoli defender Daniele Mori.
The rest of the squad is essentially the same side that beat Hungary 3-0 away from home in their opening game.
The Azzurrini travel to Vaduz for their match with Liechtenstein on October 6, then welcome Turkey to Rieti on October 11.
They are in qualifying Group 7 on the road to the 2013 European Under-21 Championships in Israel.
Turkey currently lead the group with nine points from three matches, while Italy (one game) and the Republic of Ireland (two matches) are tied on three.
