Hamsik stops Scudetto talk

Marek Hamsik is still trying to calm the Napoli fans after their San Siro triumph. “It's too early to talk about the Scudetto.”

The Partenopei earned a 3-0 win over Inter in an arena they hadn't conquered since 1994.

“It is an important victory against a great side like Inter, but it's too early to jump to conclusions or talk about the Scudetto,” insisted Hamsik.

“We certainly benefited from Joel Obi's red card, but also played well and passed the ball around brilliantly.

“If we want to be a big club, then we have to do well on all fronts, including the Champions League and Coppa Italia.”

Hamsik saw his penalty parried into the path of Hugo Campagnaro, then scored Napoli's third goal.

“I have to improve when helping out the defence. I played better in the second half when there was more space, as before the break Inter kept it tight.”
