Francesco Guidolin hopes Udinese can “enjoy the Serie A leadership” after another comfortable victory.
The Friulani were already joint top last week and are currently on their own awaiting Juventus-Milan this evening.
“It is very satisfying to be top of the table and we can enjoy the Serie A leadership during the break for international duty,” he said of their 2-0 win against Bologna.
“Then we can dive back into our hard work to continue growing our project. We've got to be entertaining, but also effective, as I don't like fancy football for no reason.
“We could've scored some more goals today and really want to repeat the extraordinary campaign of 2010-11, despite the difficulties of new players, losing some important figures and others tired from the Copa America.
“We are united and will enjoy this time in the sun, knowing full well sooner or later there will be rain.
“The only negative about this period is the regret over the Champions League play-off exit, because we weren't in our best shape and failed to take advantage of Arsenal's poor form.”
