Stefano Pioli will reportedly be named as the new Bologna boss after the club sacked Pierpaolo Bisoli today.

Pioli spent last term at Chievo before a summer switch to Palermo. However, he was axed by the Rosanero in pre-season.

The Rossoblu had initially targeted Delio Rossi and Davide Ballardini, but both men turned them down.
