Former Serie A favourite Juan Sebastian Veron has announced his retirement from the game.
The classy midfielder, born in March 1975, has revealed that he'll play his last match for Estudiantes against Racing on October 31.
The Argentine international started his career with his present club before a move to Boca Juniors.
It was while with the latter that he caught the eye of Italian sides and he spent five years in Italy with Sampdoria, Parma and Lazio before a 2001 switch to Manchester United.
He returned to the peninsula with Inter in 2004 for a couple of seasons after a spell at Chelsea.
