Douglas Maicon has rejected speculation that he has considered an Inter exit. "They are lies," he stated.
The Brazilian's future has been in some doubt at San Siro ever since links emerged with Real Madrid over 12 months ago.
"It's not true that I wanted to leave Inter a year ago," the right-back told Inter Channel when asked about the speculation.
"I went to the World Cup after the Champions League Final before returning to my work with Inter, where I am happy.
"However, every now and again things are said about me which are not true."
Rumours of an Inter exit have again started to circulate with reports claiming that this will be his last campaign at the Stadio Meazza.
"It has been said that I will leave, but that came from an agent who doesn't represent me," the former Cruzeiro and Monaco man underlined.
"The only person who is authorised to talk about me and represent me is Roberto Calenda.
"These transfer market rumours are not true. I'm just working hard to give my contribution to the team and that is it.
"I have never thought about leaving."
Maicon, now 30, has been with the Italian club since the summer of 2006.
