ADL hails 'extraordinary' Napoli

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis can't hide the delight he feels at his side's 'extraordinary' start to the season in Serie A.

The Partenopei currently lie joint third in the League after Monday's thrilling last gasp victory over Palermo at the San Paolo.

Writing on the club's official website, De Laurentiis had nothing but praise for his players and the coaching staff at Napoli.

"We are at the beginning of a very tiring season, a season which has started in an extraordinary manner, showing ability and maturity," he wrote.

"I hope that this start and keep going in a happy manner. Napoli are a club with people of great worth and above all healthy sporting values.

"It has to be all for one and one for all. Napoli are an important club in the world with its millions of fans. I want to be a friend to you and be completely at your disposition, not like a President, but like a person always ready to lend a hand."
