Blerim Dzemaili has revealed that both he individually and the Napoli team as a collective believe they can give a lot more in games.
The midfielder is set to return to first-team action next weekend against former side Parma after enduring a brief but frustrating spell on the sidelines with a foot injury.
Speaking ahead of his return to full training on Monday, Swiss international Dzemaili reiterated his belief that he can give a great deal more to Napoli's cause.
"I'm not satisfied with what I have given so far. I want to give my contribution and the week of rest will have helped me a lot."
Dzemaili also insinuated the same mood is held collectively within the Azzurri dressing room, .
"We are doing well, but we can do even more, we want to do more."
The midfielder then analysed where competition in the table is likely to come from.
"Juve will do well, they conducted a good transfer market. The Milanese have not had a good start but we cannot discount Milan and Inter.
"We must look at the performance of everyone, we cannot think about fighting for the title with just Juve. There are so many teams."
Dzemaili was not selected for international duty due to his injury, but is set to be available by next weekend and admitted his willingness to fit into Walter Mazzarri's plans, even if that involves a change of position.
"I'm fine, I trained well this week. I've played in many positions in my career, it is an advantage. I have acted as playmaker in recent years, but I have always been a central midfielder.
"I can adapt, it is not an issue, I am available to Mazzarri. The relationship with him is great: the Coach talks a lot and makes it clear to us as players."
