Mourinho wants Eto'o at Madrid

Reports in the Spanish Press claim Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho would like to be reunited with Inter striker Samuel Eto'o.

The Cameroon international was crucial to Inter's treble-winning campaign, often playing as a makeshift full-back on either side.

Real Madrid feel they need to reinforce their team up front in light of Gonzalo Higuain's recent injury problems with a herniated disc.

El Mundo Deportivo believes Mourinho has asked Real Madrid President Florentino Perez to make Eto'o another Galactico.

If a deal were to go ahead it would be incredible given Eto'o's past both with Real Madrid and of course Barcelona.

Eto'o wouldn't be eligible to play in the Champions League, but Mourinho believes he would be a key weapon on the domestic front against Barca.
