Inter boss Claudio Ranieri will rest Julio Cesar for the club's Week 7 trip to Catania, it is being suggested.
The goalkeeper returned early from international duty this week after picking up a back problem while with Brazil.
Although he declared himself fit enough to appear at the Stadio Massimino on his return to the peninsula, Ranieri doesn't want to take any risks.
As a result, the South American could make room for Luca Castellazzi in the first team on Saturday.
Julio Cesar would then be brought back into the side for the Italian team's Champions League game at Lille on Tuesday.
