Antonio Conte won't stand for Juventus complaining about the pressure of leading Serie A. “We are Juve and we live with the need to win.”
The Bianconeri are top of the table alongside Udinese and take on Chievo on Sunday afternoon.
“When you are at Juventus, you have to live with the need to win and it's normal to have pressure,” said the Coach in today's Press conference.
“We've had a good start to the season, so this must help build our self-belief to the max. It's true we dropped points against the smaller sides, but with Catania we got the first half wrong, while against Bologna we were a man down.
“We beat Siena and Parma, so I certainly wouldn't call those results a drop in concentration levels.”
There are concerns over fatigue after a large number of Juventus players were used on international duty this week, especially for Italy.
“We should be happy that our lads are protagonists at international level. I understand that Cesare Prandelli always wants to field the formation he considers to be the best. Of course I don't like having so many players away during the week, but we're back together now and ready to face Chievo.”
Instead, Conte had a sideswipe at the media, agents and those trying to cause problems within the Turin camp.
“I do not like what I've been reading the past few days, as there are too many players and agents talking about Juventus and the possibility of wearing the Bianconeri jersey in future. It is disrespectful towards the squad that is doing very well at the start of this season.”
