Guidolin sees Novara danger

Francesco Guidolin knows Udinese can go clear at the top of the table, but respects Novara. “They're dangerous and we must give our all.”

The Friulani have been joint leaders since the start of the season and Juventus were held 2-2 by Genoa last night, so with all three points they can take that spot on their own.

“I spoke to the lads and we viewed the Novara footage, so everyone realises they're dangerous and we must give our all,” said the Coach.

“We've got to find a way to bring the best qualities out of ourselves, that is crucial. I admire Novara a great deal and we have to be on guard.”

Udinese beat Atletico Madrid 2-0 on Thursday evening in the Europa League when resting Antonio Di Natale.

“The team is concentrated and I trust in the strength in depth of my squad. I believe my lads don't feel they have ‘arrived,' so are able to bring out their best even in difficult circumstances and a packed schedule.

“I do this job with passion and constantly want to test myself. I wish everyone could feel like this, as passion is worth so much more than success or money.”

Udinese squad: Handanovic, Padelli, Romo; Armero, Basta, Benatia, Danilo, Domizzi, Ekstrand, Ferronetti, Neuton, Pereyra; Abdi, Asamoah, Badu, Battocchio, Doubai, Isla, Sissoko; Di Natale, Fabbrini, Floro Flores, Torje
