Under pressure Fiorentina tactician Sinisa Mihajlovic has won the backing of key player Stevan Jovetic.
Mihajlovic is an unpopular figure amongst some fans given their struggles last term and their difficulties this time around.
A 2-2 draw against Catania didn't help matters and the Viola go into tomorrow's game against Juventus with just two wins from seven games.
"I read on Saturday that [patron] Andrea Della Valle underlined his faith in our Coach and it was only right to do so," the Montenegro international told Tuttosport.
"Mihajlovic doesn't deserve all of this criticism and Fiorentina don't either. I understand the fans, but this pressure doesn't help and the season is still long.
"The supporters should just know that we are going to Turin with the intention of doing everything possible to win.
"We know how much this game means in Florence."
Juve have stuttered in recent weeks after picking up just one win and four draws from the last five games played.
"They are an excellent side," continued Jovetic. "They are a side who, along with Milan and Inter, can fight for the title.
"Saying that, if we make sacrifices and play in the manner that we know how to then we can get a result."
