Federico Marchetti maintains that revenge is not on his mind when Lazio visit former club Cagliari this weekend.
The goalkeeper joined the Biancocelesti in the summer after a misunderstanding at the Sant'Elia saw him dropped from competitive action for the whole of last term.
"I'm not looking for revenge against Cagliari on Sunday," the shot-stopper stated. "I spent a part of my life there and I'm happy to be able to go back."
Marchetti's problems with the Rossoblu began after he appeared for Italy at the 2010 World Cup Finals.
The custodian returned to the island where he made it clear in an interview that he wanted to join a bigger club.
That public statement frustrated President Massimo Cellino and Marchetti lost his standing at the club's No 1 'keeper.
