Edy Reja admits he “went through some very difficult moments” and won't rule out Lazio pushing for the Scudetto.
The Coach had offered his resignation, which was rejected by President Claudio Lotito, after he received death threats and insults from ultras.
However, his rapport with the fans has changed after winning the first Rome derby of his career and they are now just one point off the top of the table.
“I went through some very difficult moments due to the continual protests and was ready to walk away,” confessed Reja.
“Now, with the worst behind me, I thank the President for having helped me in that period.
“Is our objective the Scudetto? For the moment, the objective is to win at Cagliari. As for the rest, all I can say is that we want to finish as high up the table as possible.”
