Udinese patron Giampaolo Pozzo maintains that his side are not targeting Scudetto glory this season. "Safety is the target."
The Bianconeri are flying high again this term after finishing the last campaign in fourth which allowed them into the Champions League preliminaries.
Udinese are currently second in Serie A, a point behind leaders Juventus, but Pozzo is eager to cool enthusiasm.
"The squad is strong and Coach Francesco Guidolin is talented, but we don't have the budget to compete with the teams who want to win the Scudetto," he stated.
"Our objective continues to be that of reaching the 40 point mark as soon as possible in order to ensure survival."
The Stadio Friuli outfit have collected 18 points from their nine League games so far during the 2011-12 campaign.
