Sampdoria goalkeeper Gianluca Curci believes his side just aren't the same without Antonio Cassano.
The Italy international has been frozen out of the first team since October when he had a huge falling out with Sampdoria President Riccardo Garrone.
The first hearing regarding Cassano's contract situation took place today and a verdict is expected on Monday.
"We have certainly lost quality," Curci said. "But we are stronger, tougher and much more fastidious in our pressing.
"In Antonio's place there will be someone who gives more substance and runs a little more," he concluded.
