A new look for Football Italia

Welcome to the new Football Italia. After more than a decade operating with our original design and old fashioned systems we’ve gone for a complete revamp in order to give you a better, faster and more efficient service.

We’ve taken into account the new technology available, and all the comments over the years from you – our loyal readers. It’s been a hard slog over many months for our team – led by online editor Antonio Labbate and web developer David McMurray – and there are still upgrades to come into play. But we hope you like what we’ve done so far.

All the features you’ve regularly visited are still here, but hopefully quicker and easier to find and even more comprehensive. Plenty of exciting new elements too as you navigate around. But a lot more to upload as we delve into our massive database built up by real experts of the Italian game.

Starting as an add-on to the original Channel 4 Football Italia television programmes in the early 1990s, we think we’ve made our own mark – especially since becoming completely independent over two years ago.

We have always boasted that this is ‘THE’ website for English speaking fans of the Italian game. Hopefully, you will agree that is even more the case now. If you do, tell your friends who amazingly still might not know about us. And if you have comments about how we can improve still further, then let us know by contacting us direct by clicking here.

Remember, we want success for all Italian sides and Cesare Prandelli’s Azzurri. And it’s here that you’ll get first news of anything that happens at club, European and international level plus expert analysis, pre and post-match comments, enhanced live scores, the best blogs and some stunning picture galleries. In addition, our popular E-player carries match footage and interviews from Italy and around the world on football and other major sports.

I look forward to all your views.
