UEFA have partially accepted Italy’s appeal, so Under-21 international Lorenzo Insigne’s ban has been reduced to two games.
The Pescara striker was sent off during the European Championship qualifier against Turkey and handed a three-match suspension.
Today Insigne and the FIGC lawyers saw their appeal partially accepted in Nyon, cutting it down from three games to two.
The third is now a suspended sentence that will be activated if he misbehaves again.
However, Insigne is still out of the upcoming Under-21 matches against Turkey on Thursday November 10 and Hungary on Tuesday November 15.
