Manchester City will make Milan a €30m offer for star defender Thiago Silva, reports in England and Italy are suggesting.
City boss Roberto Mancini has placed the Brazilian international at the top of his defensive reinforcements wish-list.
Thiago Silva, now 27, is widely regarded as one of the top centre-backs in Serie A following his arrival from Fluminense in 2009.
Silva signed a new long-term contract with the Italian champions at the end of the last campaign.
The stopper, who has also been strongly paired with Barcelona in the past, is tied to the San Siro outfit until June 2016.
