Taye Taiwo will remain with Milan for the rest of the season despite English interest in his services.
The left-back only joined the Italian club in the summer after his contract at Marseille came to an end.
However, he’s already being linked with a New Year exit after struggling to break into the Rossoneri first team.
“I don’t think that he will leave Milan,” agent Mickael Coker told footmercato.net when questioned on the speculation.
“Taye will fight until the very end to win the faith of Coach Massimiliano Allegri and the club directors.”
French club Lyon have been paired with the defender, but his representative feels a switch to the Premiership is more likely should an Italy exit be confirmed.
“I don’t think that he wants to return to France, however there are a number of English clubs on him.”
