Roma are reportedly set to ask the Argentina FA for compensation after Nicolas Burdisso’s injury.
The defender snapped knee ligaments during the World Cup qualifier against Colombia this week and will be out of action for six months.
According to the latest reports in the Italian media, Roma have instructed their lawyers to prepare a compensation claim against the AFA.
There has often been controversy between clubs and international federations when it comes to injuries.
It is also worth noting that Burdisso flew back to Rome for a consultation with the Giallorossi medics before going under the knife.
