Roma director Walter Sabatini “won’t rule out” Marco Borriello’s January exit, as Genoa are rumoured to want the striker back.
The former Italian international is rarely seen in the Giallorossi line-up since Luis Enrique took over and was on the verge of a transfer in the summer.
“There has been no contact with Genoa for Borriello,” insisted director of sport Sabatini on Pianetagenoa1893.net.
“At this moment I won’t rule out his departure in January, but the club has received no requests from Enrico Preziosi.”
It would be a return to Marassi for Borriello, who scored 19 goals in 35 games for Genoa in 2007-08.
