Roma have fined Pablo Osvaldo €50,000 and made him unavailable for selection next weekend after his physical altercation with Erik Lamela.
Coach Luis Enrique asked for the Giallorossi to take action against the striker after the Argentine-born Italian international allegedly punched his younger teammate on Friday following the loss at Udinese.
Despite reducing his options in attack, the Spanish tactician will not consider the summer signing for next weekend’s game at Fiorentina.
Osvaldo, however, will be allowed to train with the first team squad while ‘suspended’ at the request of his Giallorosso teammates.
The former Fiorentina player, 25, joined the Italian club from Espanyol in the summer and he’s scored five goals in 12 League games so far.
