Julio Cesar has dismissed suggestions that he’s coming towards the end of his Inter career.
Questions are being asked about the player’s long-term future at San Siro after some inconsistent performances over the last 18 months.
The Brazilian, though, has made it clear that he wants to continue guarding the Nerazzurri posts for some time to come.
“I have no problems with the club,” the international noted. “I have a contract until 2014 and I don’t want to change teams.
“All I am thinking about is winning with Inter. Let’s hope we can end the season by lifting at least one trophy.”
The San Siro giants have had a problematic start to the season and they are already 12 points behind leaders Juventus in Serie A.
“We were surprised by our start to the campaign,” continued the former Chievo Verona man. “However, it’s not a problem.
“Since I arrived here in 2005 we have always been at the top of the table, I’ve always been high up in the standings.
“We’re not thinking about the Scudetto this year right now, we are just focused on one game at a time.”
