Carlos Tevez is in talks with Milan and Inter captain Javier Zanetti admits “he’d be a great buy for them.”
It was confirmed last week that Manchester City had given permission for Tevez’s agents to make contact with the Rossoneri.
“All I can say is that Milan would really get themselves a bargain if they brought Tevez to San Siro. He is a great champion,” said Zanetti.
The two played together for many years with Argentina and Inter had also been linked with a swoop for Carlitos.
“Our club has always signed big players, so I don’t see why we shouldn’t continue. President Massimo Moratti makes the effort to improve the squad and our results in recent years reflect that.”
