Chievo Verona have extended the contract of goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino until the end of the 2013-14 campaign.
The custodian recently spoke of his desire to join a big club at some stage in the future, but Chievo have responded by taking up an option to prolong his agreement.
Sorrentino, formerly of Torino and AEK Athens, joined the Flying Donkeys in the summer of 2008.
The 32-year-old was targeted by Juventus in 2010, but the Old Lady opted to sign Marco Storari instead as cover for the injured Gigi Buffon.
