Stevan Jovetic has revealed why he decided to recently commit his future to Fiorentina. “This is a big club.”
The Montenegro playmaker extended his contract at the Stadio Artemio Franchi until June 2016 in October.
“I chose to renew my agreement because I dreamt of playing for a big club and Fiorentina are one,” he told the Corriere dello Sport.
“We are a great team and we want to win the Coppa Italia this term.”
Jovetic, who missed all of last season after rupturing knee ligaments, has underlined his ambition to become a symbol in Florence.
“I want to be considered at this club like Francesco Totti is viewed in the Italian capital at Roma,” added the 22-year-old.
Fiorentina will actually meet Roma in Serie A this weekend.
