Davide Ballardini is confident Cagliari “know what they have to do” in today’s Derby delle Isole with Catania.
The Sardinians have picked up just one point in his two games at the helm and step out for the lunch-time kick-off.
“It’s going to be a very difficult game against a strong opponent in good form and Vincenzo Montella is a Coach I really respect,” said Ballardini.
“Having said all that, the players know what they have to do. In attack there are three players pushing for two places. Only when you play well do you also get the result, especially in Serie A.”
Radja Nainggolan sits out a ban, while Nene, Moustapha El Kabir, Sebastian Eriksson and Davide Astori are injured.
