Alessandro Del Piero is back at home after the Juventus captain spent the night in a Turin hospital.
The veteran was admitted as a precautionary measure following a kick in the head during Sunday’s 2-0 win over Cesena.
The 37-year-old needed eight stitches after Marco Rossi’s boot made contact with the Italian World Cup winner’s face.
“Just released,” the former Padova player wrote on his Facebook page. “Everything’s fine. Ale.”
The No 10 came on for Mirko Vucinic in the 56th minute of yesterday’s tie, but he was then replaced himself by Emanuele Giaccherini just eight minutes later.
