Palermo have dismissed the notion that Italian international Federico Balzaretti will leave the club in January.
The left-back has made it clear that he would like a move to Paris Saint-Germain – given that his wife works as a ballerina in the French capital.
PSG sporting director Leonardo is interested in signing the former Torino and Juventus man, but he’s been told that he will have to wait.
“I can assure everyone that Balzaretti, from now until June, won’t be leaving Palermo,” club Vice-President Guglielmo Micciche stated.
Paris SG have done transfer business with the Stadio Barbera outfit over the last six months.
They spent €42m on now former Rosanero starlet Javier Pastore in the summer, while they also netted Azzurri goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu.
