Serie A: Four Napoli players banned

Napoli are in joint second place, but have four players suspended for this weekend's Serie A round.

The Partenopei have been hit hard by the Disciplinary Commission ahead of their match with Lecce.

Michele Pazienza, Salvatore Aronica, Hugo Campagnaro and Paolo Cannavaro have all been handed a one-match ban.

Catania are pleased to note that Taka Morimoto and Martinho have only been suspended for one game after their straight red cards against Cagliari on Sunday afternoon.

Japanese international Morimoto has, however, also been fined €5,000.

The other players banned for one game are: Nene (Cagliari), Christian Brocchi (Lazio), Marco Donadel (Fiorentina), Felipe Melo (Juventus), Gaby Mudingayi (Bologna), Luca Rigoni (Chievo) and Jonathan Zebina (Brescia).
