Marseille have categorically rejected the possibility of a January bid for Juventus outcast Amauri.
The French club tried and failed to sign the striker during the summer when terms were agreed with the Old Lady, but the player rejected the switch.
There were suggestions that Marseille could make a fresh bid in January, but the Ligue 1 outfit insist that won’t happen.
“Amauri won’t come here,” Marseille boss Didier Deschamps – who has both played and managed Juve – underlined.
“He is no longer of any interest to us. That is now very clear.”
The Brazilian-born Italian international hasn’t played for Juventus so far this term after snubbing a summer move to any club.
Amauri, whose contract expires in June 2012, is expected to leave Turin after Christmas with Tottenham heavily linked with his signature.
