English club Newcastle are the latest outfit to be linked with a January move for Milan defender Taye Taiwo.
The Nigerian, 26, only joined the Rossoneri over the summer, but he’s finding it tough to feature regularly in the team.
Taiwo, a left-back, has played in just two Serie A games and four Champions League ties so far this season.
Galatasaray and Werder Bremen have also been associated with the player who left Marseille on a free transfer in June 2011.
Newcastle are said to be prepared to offer Milan €1m in exchange for the player’s loan. They would also get an option to buy him outright at the end of the season.
