Rubin Kazan defender Salvatore Bocchetti wouldn’t look out of place at a big club, his representative has commented.
The former Genoa ace has been playing his football in Russia since 2010, but he’s been constantly linked with an Italian return ever since.
“It’s no secret that he was very close to joining Juventus in the summer,” agent Andrea D’Amico told TMW.
“He certainly deserves to play for a big team. He’s an important individual who is starting to confirm himself.”
Bocchetti, 25, was born in Naples and he has been associated with a move to his hometown outfit in the past.
“The reality is that Napoli have never asked me for him, so it’s not worth talking about them if they are not interested,” responded D’Amico.
The stopper has won five Italian caps.
