Taye Taiwo has admitted that he won’t stay at Milan if he fails to break into the plans of boss Massimiliano Allegri.
The Nigerian international joined the Rossoneri from Marseille in the summer, but he’s struggled to get a regular game.
Speaking to L’Equipe, the Bosman free signing has suggested that he’ll consider a move away from San Siro if he continues to be a spectator.
“I suffer every single day because I’m not playing football,” the left-back noted. “I came here to play and instead I’ve only featured in six games.
“I don’t understand how things work over here in Italy. Sometimes I’m left in the stands whereas I really need to play.
“Evidently Allegri doesn’t have faith in my abilities. It’s not really in my nature to stay in a situation like this.”
The 26-year-old has been paired with January moves to Newcastle, Werder Bremen and Galatasaray, amongst others.
