Cagliari are likely to be without the influential Daniele Conti until the middle of January following injury.
The midfielder, son of 1982 World Cup winner Bruno, picked up a problem in the Parma game following a clash with Stefano Morrone.
Initial tests on the Stadio Sant’Elia enforcer suggest that the knee injury which he has suffered will see him sidelined for one month.
Conti will thus miss the pre-Christmas games against Chievo and Milan, as well as possibly the January tie versus Genoa.
