Diego Forlan has been included in the Inter squad for Tuesday’s re-arranged Serie A game at Genoa.
The Uruguayan international hasn’t played since early October because of a muscle strain picked up while on international duty.
However, after weeks of treatment, he has proved his fitness to the Nerazzurri and is one of the 23 players selected for the Marassi trip.
Dutch international Wesley Sneijder is still absent though for boss Claudio Ranieri whose side returned to winning ways with a 2-0 over Fiorentina on Saturday.
The Genoa tie was originally scheduled for Week 11, but had to be postponed after heavy rain led to flooding in the port city.
